FairFax Wellington Business Reporter Jazial Crossley talks to Mat Watkins about OnNetworks emergence in the NZ Market Place and the background behind our unique OnOffice Remote Teleworking product.

“A new Wellington service is promising to shave up to a quarter off small to medium companies’ communications costs. OnNetworks will be launched in the capital next month by Knossos Networks.

Knossos was started 12 years ago by Victoria University’s former network manager and one of New Zealand’s internet industry pioneers Don Stokes and network services specialist John Rumsey.

The creation of OnNetworks was inspired by seeing smaller Christchurch firms unable to do business when they couldn’t access their offices after the earthquakes.

Targeting companies with five to 20 employees, OnNetworks will offer fully integrated internet connectivity, email, telephone services, website hosting, data storage and remote access – everything businesses need to communicate with their customers – at a lower rate than the large telcos currently provide.
